I had an amazing massage by Bri. Definitely no complaints there and the massage table was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever laid on. The amenities were just ok though. Could only use the spa rooftop pool which had no shade and a lot of rust everywhere. For the cost of the service we should be able to go to the regular resort pool area as well. They did give me a complimentary champagne for my birthday though. Overall it was a good one time experience.

The property is beautiful and the spa is very clean and the amenities are great. The views of the mountains were stunning. I did the relief spa with a scalp massage add on and the massage was one of the best ones I have had. However, I feel like the concierge/ front desk people were not very friendly. The service at the rooftop pool could have been better, and some of the tables were broken near the lounge chairs. The pool area looks kind of tired and it could use some revamping. The servers did not have any attention to detail and took a while to bring drinks, they also did not pour the water. The food wasn’t great by the pool either. For this spa to be considered “luxury”, and for the prices that guests are paying, the service all around should have been top notch. Unfortunately, this was not a five star experience like it was advertised to be.

I had a wonderful time at the Phoenician Spa, except for leaving. I got the hydrafacial with the wonderful aesthetician, Tarah, and it was amazing. She was so kind, told me what she was doing, made me feel 100% comfortable, and did an amazing job! I would go back to see her again! The spa facility was amazing too- sauna, steam room, hot tub, coloring pages in the rest area, snacks waters and teas. If that had been the total experience it would be 5 stars and completely amazing. The issue for me was I think because I look young so the front desk people were not very helpful to me. I’m 24 and was treated my spa experience by my husbands parents. They sent a form before my spa day with lots of questions- don’t know why they used that because they don’t look at it all. They ask if you want a tour of the facilities (fast or complete) I asked for a complete tour so I could see what was there. They didn’t show me where a single thing was. Only showed me the locker and how to use it. So that was disappointing. When the lady (Theresa) checked me in she told me I would get a face mask when I was leaving then when I left she acted like she had never seen me didn’t know who I was and wouldn’t give me the thing she told me she was giving me. I talked to the aesthetician during our appointment and she gave me instructions on how to use the sheet mask at home ( told me to use the sheet mask at home for 1 hour then put it in a cup add boiling water and then use that on my body). I told Teresa that and she said it was during my treatment. It definitely was not. Tarah told me how to use it at home and never told me that she did a sheet mask during our session (she was communicating every product and what she was doing during my facial to me). I told Theresa that was not the case it wasn’t in my treatment time and she was the one who told me I would get it when I leave and she did not have a single care. I’m married so I’m a Mrs they called me miss doesn’t really matter to me but still shows they don’t look at their lists. When I was walking out there was 4 people working the desk not one person said hello not once person said a single word. Which I think is weird for a “luxury spa” to have zero manners or be helpful? So I had a great time but when I left it left a extremely sour note in my mouth. It’s probably a $10 face mask so I’m not going to fight for it- but why tell me about it then deny it? They had complementary hair brushes, lotions, snacks, drinks but will die on a hill to scam you out of the sheet mask they tell you about. Incredibly disappointing. So the spa inside and the aestheticians are amazing, help at the front desk sucks.

I love this spa, I return every year although it is pricey. I had a facial with Andrea and it was one of the best facials I have ever had. I love that they offer hydra facial and biologique recherche facials, the two best brands for results. My only complaint is that hotel guest spouses at spa should be able to come To the pool as a guest if not getting a treatment to have lunch.
